Thank you for being a paid subscriber to the Coppell Chronicle. I truly appreciate your support.
As you may know, I’ve been able to easily distribute this newsletter via email since 2021 thanks to my corporate partners at Substack. However, in a classic Friday-afternoon news dump, Substack announced some policy changes yesterday that I cannot stand behind. I won’t bore you with the details, but they largely concern data security.
Consequently, I am here to announce a major format change. Beginning with Vol. 3, No. 6, the Coppell Chronicle will be exclusively distributed via fax machines. I realize this is a drastic move that may reduce my audience, but it’s one that I feel is necessary.
If you would like to continue receiving the Chronicle, please provide me with a valid fax number by 12:30 p.m. tomorrow. To make things easier, you can submit your fax number by clicking here.
Thanks for reading,
Dan Koller
Dan, I don't have a fax machine. I prefer receiving your excellent newspaper via Wester Union Telegram. To make things easier, please convert it to Morse Code and send it in that format. Thank you.
Dan, I think you’d make a great Town Crier. You could stand in the middle of old Coppell and announce the latest news.
