Thank you Councilman Jun for abstaining on the Pride vote. I know it was one of the hardest decisions that you may ever make on the City Council. When I served as mayor for this great city I tried to limit the number of proclamations - and remove from consideration items that had to do with social issues. They tend to divide rather than unite.

Apparently John Jun doesn't actually support Pillar 2 of the city's Vision 2040 Strategic Plan. It would have been far better to abstain without comment.

It makes me wonder what else is not within his heart.

Note to self for future elections: John Jun's action and words are super disappointing.

Can someone please explain how $670k is not enough to build changing rooms? You can build a fantastic house with that.

Well, I’ve slept since then, but thank goodness for those 22 votes! Lol!!

I’m very happy to read our CHS Baseball & Softball players are getting much deserved and long overdue facilities and turfed playing fields! Thank you for including the parent’s comments which gave real insight here! And yes, by all means, please do it well and right the first go-round!

Donna Bekavac- I couldn’t agree more!💦

I enjoy reading the Chronicle and keeping me updated on the happenings in our city and community. Thank you Brianna for your open heart and inclusive statement about honoring ALL groups and making everyone welcome.

I’m happy to see artificial turf being installed, but mainly for environmentally friendly reasons. We should never take our water supply for granted. Artificial turf means less water use 😀👍🏻
