The traffic signal at the intersection of SH 121 and Denton Tap is owned and operated by the City of Lewisville (hence the Lewisville branding). Overlaps such as this one are pretty common at jurisdictional borders. Source: I'm a traffic engineer and I deal with this sort of thing frequently when designing signals.
