Thank you for the informative update on the happenings in Coppell and the surrounding towns.
As a retired Coppell teacher, I would want the Covid dashboard to continue. Coppell has ALWAYS been great at keeping parents informed! Why stop now?
When I moved here in 1980 there were only 1800 citizens. A few years later, our citizens voted on joking DART. They were asked to pay a half cent sales tax to join. Our only business was a gas station, a small convenience store, and the Dairy Queen. There was a referendum vote by ballot during a city election. It was voted down by old Coppellians. Only a small number of people voted. I voted for it. They also voted against building a 2nd fire station, which later was mandated because of the city’s growth. That lack of vision in the early years has come back to bite us! ☹️
Great article and reporting as usual. I am so glad my kids are grown and out of CISD.
Enjoyed the pieces in Covid and CISD and Silver Line. Keep up the great investigative reporting, Dan.
"Solidarity in mediocrity, Sam!" 🤣🤣🤣 I so appreciate a good LOL when I'm getting informed 😁👍.

Oops! There’s no edit button. “Joining DART”. If there are more typos, please excuse my fat fingers!
