I am appalled by the number of elected officials in Coppell who have abstained from voting since the 2020 elections. We vote for people to take a stand and vote, not abstain.
Thank you for another informative Coppell Chronicle. I was saddened to hear about the tensions rearing an ugly head on our school board, especially at a time when we all need to come together to support our children and educators. The 2 teachers at Pinkerton that made their students WHOOP with their creative reward for their class is surely one of many fun end-of-year celebrations going on, but masking the worry of teachers, parents, & students. That story sure made me smile!
Thank you for these weekly editions. Was hoping to read about an outcome, resolution, path taken by CISD in the incident that unfolded at the middle school. As a 24-year resident of Coppell, with kids grown and out of the school system, we aren't aware of what's sent out to parents. It's the end of the school year. How is CISD addressing and moving forward with incidents like these?
Thank you Dan. Sounds like a canned cut-and-paste response from the leadership. But I guess that's to be expected. Unfortunately. Appreciate the share.
Safe travels, Dan!
