P.S. I visited Armando’s Tacos for the first time just so I could take the photo in this edition. There were 15 other customers in there at the time, and I noticed as I was waiting to order that I was the only one who wasn’t Latino. That made me think, “Oh, this is going to be good.” And it was.

Thanks. Another good issue. My name suggestion for the Parks and Recreation Department is the "Community Life Department", given their much broader range of responsibilities.

Hi Dan! As the President of Assistance League of Coppell, I'd like to clarify the piece about us in your "Chronicle Crumbs". The "properties" we seek are private homes who have nice architectural features and are decorated for the holidays whether it is for Christmas, Hannukah, Dawali, Kwanza or any other celebration for the season. The purpose of this is to raise funds to support the underprivileged youth in our community to support them for their clothing and food needs. It is our largest fund raiser of the year and finding willing homeowners to participate is primo in order to host the event. Thank you!

Thank you for another interesting and informative Coppell Chronicle. There are a lot of interesting items. I clicked on the Republican platform and was shocked that a major party in the United States actually entered such hateful items into their goals!

Thank you for that link.

FYI: I just posted this on the Rotary Club Contact me on their webpage.

I was so disappointed to see the flags taken down on the 18th - THE DAY BEFORE JUNETEENTH - also a National Holiday. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that this act was not intended to be racist but the effect is the same. You devalued experience of black people. Please adjust your flag policy to include Juneteenth.
