The Coppell High School baseball team will travel to Denton Guyer at 7:30 on Thursday, and Game 2 of the bi-district series will be played in Coppell at 7:30 on Friday. If necessary, Game 3 would happen on Saturday.
These curbs are dangerous. The previous sidewalks that gently sloped in a 90 degree arc were safer for everyone. These unsafe curbs were also installed along Parkway east of city hall. IMHO, the "directional curbs" are present to deter poor drivers from cutting the corner too closely. However, they pose a serious risk for tripping or being thrown from your bike. The multiple 90 degree angles to negotiate them is dangerous and illogical.
I thought I was the only one who found the ADA compliant intersections ridiculously unsafe. There are several around town that, without reflective marking or paint to show the gradient changes, are extremely dangerous for pedestrians and bike riders. I've both tripped and caught a pedal on them There's no doubt that these are more likely to cause an injury than they are to help the folks who may need them. Simply, all the raised curbs should be painted high visibility / reflective yellow.
Thanks. I just got back today from a 2 week trip. When can I vote? Is early voting over? One would expect I could find this easily by a good search but I could not. Thanks!!
I watched the W&M meeting and agree that Meyer was merciless and then other members joined in. I thought, why in the world did they save all these left field questions for Kent when Mayor Mays just spoke but they didn’t ask him 1 question. “Kinda weird” is an understatement. “Ambush” is more fitting. Kent handled it pretty well, considering. Meyer came off as an elitist Jack-ass! I hope Rodriguez’ insight is correct, that it could be effectively dead on May 11.🤞
I drove up to Helen’s Hot Chicken a month ago.
I shocked & devastated to learn it was gone!
The Chicken was SO good and I will miss the Pink Lemonade Cake too. Such a Bummer!
I was excited to try Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken when they first opened in Coppell. However, when I went inside to order for the first time, I stated, “I’ll have a Hot 3-Wing Dinner, please.” The young man looked at me, kinda weird.😉That’s when I found out they only serve boneless chicken. I said, “Are you kidding me, no (real) chicken?”. Ugh! I walked out.
**IF anyone knows a good “Hot (real) Chicken” place, please please let me know.🙏**

After I published this edition, Trudy Baade told me the credit cards used by the pro-bond PAC belong to her and her co-chair, Gaby Anene.

No, Dave’s serves boneless/tenders only also.
I’m looking for (real) bone-in Hot fried chicken.
Thanks for trying. Happy Sunday! ☀️

Have you tried Dave's Hot Chicken on the 635 service road?
Thank you.
and who is he?
He’s a three-time candidate for the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees who runs a Facebook group called “Coppell ISD Concerned Parents and Taxpayers.”
Hello. Who is Hansen? You refer to them several times.
Ron Hansen. His full name is in the first paragraph of the first article.
How does one support the bond yet endorse Julie Waters?
