I think Coppell did an amazing job informing us. My only (and really only) hope is next time they remind us in the early morning. Completely forget like your wife did.
The 65 yr old Coppell man that died in a rip tide in Florida was John Carter, a long time trident if the city. He is survived by his wife Cathy, 2 grown daughters and their families. He lived in Northlake Woodlands on Candor.
My dad lives in Commerce TX. I only found out about their water crisis thru the City’s updates and communications. It was heartwarming to know that Coppell sent all the unused pallets of water to help folks in Commerce! 🩵
As I walked in Old Town on Tuesday afternoon, a mother-daughter pair asked if I knew how to get to the splash pad. I replied, "You mean the interactive fountain? It's right over there."

Dan, I was waiting for this entry in your Wednesday morning timeline:
7:45 am: Sitting on toilet regretting my decision to drink those 2 cups of non-boiled water coffee.
😄
Coppell continues to show the quality is deep solid team 👍
Always informative, thanks, Dan!
