CORRECTION: The Coppell City Council's next meeting, when they will consider Derric Bonnot's noncompliant carport, will be on Jan. 14, not Jan. 12.

I agree that a Senior Living property would not be desirable at the proposed location. Seems to me that Mr. Borra just wants to unload that parcel to whoever will cough up the money. Who in their right mind would want to live out their Golden Years tucked in between a taco shop and a Dart Rail Station?

And as far as using Billingsly as a role model for making decisions… No Thank You! Still waiting to see all that single family housing they included in their original proposals. All I see is lots more traffic created by condo and apartment dwellers.

Developers come and go. But residents stay, pay taxes, and make improvements to their property. I am thankful the City Council rejected that proposal.

While the Texas Governor pushes for Charter Schools, would it be possible to promote the Coppell Public Schools? This district has a strong reputation for providing its learners with excellent foundational & accellerated education programs.

The Charter School's promotion of "what is best for your family" slogan is foolhardy. Unless a parent has an upper level education background, it is not possible for them to judge the quality of the ecucational criteria provided by Charter SChools. Teacher certification requirements are far lacking compared to the public schools.

Please contact your Texas legislators and urge them not to approve Charter Schhols for Texas. This state already has a nationally held reputation for "dumbness". I have lived in Colorado, Wyoming, Illinois and Texas. My Illinois neighbors were vocally dismayed that the move to Texas would be harmful to the families' education.
