Another great edition. Congrats to Riya for an informative, well written article. And, Dan, the Law and Order sound effect brought a smile.

For your future old tennis shoes - Run On (now Fleet Feet?) has a running shoe recycle box!! That’s where we’ve always dropped off our worn out shoes.

I'd rather see Dairy Queen come back, with different management.

I agree that it makes sense to allow Coppell ISD students who live in Valley Ranch to participate in Coppell Parks programs along with their classmates, and (as a Valley Ranch resident) I also find Councilman Al Zapanta's objections to recent Valley Ranch zoning applications to be ridiculous. I wanted to support him, but based on his recent votes, I hope a challenger will declare for his seat.

I have always wanted a Braum's in Coppell. It appears they do not have franchises, so why not contact Braum's itself to encourage opening a store in Coppell? You can leave a comment at www.braums.com or call the corporate headquarters at 405-478-1656.

Thanks for the informative information Dan (as always).

I’ve got a better idea for the $700,000 on weights. Spend $150,000 on weights and then figure out how many math teachers can be employed for $550,000.
