Hunt Will Soon Retire From Coppell ISD • District Pokes Paxton in Lawsuit Response • Candidates Share Their Hopes and Dreams • Let’s Check Those Campaigns’ Finances
I forgot to add two events to the Community Calendar in this edition: The third annual Coppell Car Show has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. today in the Sprouts parking lot, and Communities United for Public Education will host a second edition of “Funding the Future: The State of Public Education Financing in Coppell ISD” at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at VariSpace.
FWIW, at least some part of Waters’ funds were spent purchasing the contact information of Coppell residents from a marketing company called Datazapp. I learned this after I received a newsletter from her, and contacted her to find out how she’d gotten my email address. I was concerned some other institution in town had sold her the data. Just a marketing firm as it turns out, but bought all the same.
Not that I know of, but I’ll try to find out when. Meanwhile, I attended tonight’s forum hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, and it appeared that it was being recorded. The Chamber usually uploads those to YouTube.
Legacy of Leadership & Excellence & Care,
Happy Trails to Dr. Brad Hunt. ❤️🤍🖤

Is the video of the PTO presidents debate available yet? I would be interested to watch when it is. Thanks!

Thank you! I was there tonight, too, and that's good to know it's posted online as well.
